B.Scandrett moved that the Synod offer s congratulations to 1 the Primate (Bishop Neville) on enter* ing the 80th year of hig life. I Dean Fitchett, in seconding th. 3 motion, said he Avould offer felicita.tions on behalf of the Dunedin dia* cese. The motion, which Avas put by Bishop Julius, Avas carried, membdrij standing and applauding.
