DALGETY & CO. Messrs Dalgety and Co. Ltd., Palmerston North report having a good entry of both sheep and cattle at their Taihape Sale on Wednesday, 10th inst. which sold as below. Sheep. —Medium lambs :o 14/11; mixed lambs to 16/6; wetl.er l-unbs to 17/-; mixed aged ewe s i'i lamb to 18/9; 4 and 5 year owes in .'ami) to 22/-; fat and forward ewes to 23'"; 2-th wethers to 24/6; fat wethers to 29/2. Cattle.—lß to 20 month steers £6 10- to £6 12/-; dairy cows to £8 10/; 18 month heifers to £5; fat cows to £ll 12/6; quarter draughts to £l6. j ___——— j ABRAHAM AND WILLIAMS. There I was a good attendance of buyers and | bidding was spirited throughout, prac- > tically everything being sold under the hammer. We quote: mixed lambs j 12/6 to 15/10; small 2-th wethers 21/3 j to 22/10; 2-th wethers good 23/8 to j 27/3; 4 and 6-th Corridale wethers 16/6 to 20/-: fat ewes 23/-; mixed aged empty ewes 16/0 to 18/6. Cattle —2l year steers £0 13/6 to £9 12/6; cows with calves £S 2/6; weaners £4 12/-; 18 month steers £6.
