BUSY MR. HUGHES.
VARIED PROGRAMME. MANY INVITATIONS. I Mr. W. M. Hughes (Premier of Australia) has gone to Wales, and will return on Monday for further conferences regarding the freight and metal problems. Mr. Hughes has not decided as to the length of his stay in England. He hopes, in response to invitations, to visit Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Bristol, Birmingham and | York, and would also like opportunities to address Labour circles. His attendance at the Paris Conference depends on Avhether his return to Aus- | tralia is urgently needed, and Avbether 1 he can be spared for a longer period in England. Mr. Hughes will attend th e Sugar Producers’ Conference on Tuesday.
