METEROLOGICAL.
The rainfall for the month of April was 2.78 inches. There were 9 days with rain and the maximum fall was 0.86 inches on the 17th. The average fall for the corresponding month of the previous 10 years is 3.09 inches. The mean maximum temperature in the shade for the month was 61.5 deg. F.; tne mean minimum temperature in the shade was 45.1 deg. F. The extreme maximum temperature in the shade was 68.8 deg. F. on the 3rd and the extreme minimum temperature in the shade was 34.7 deg. F. on the 9th. The mean terrestial radiation (grass) temperature was-41.4 deg. the minimum being 32.5 deg. F. on the 9th. The mean earth temperature at 2 ft. F. on the 2nd to 55.5 deg.
