A London newspaper interviewed Mr. Bryan, Premier of Queensland, who in describing the extension of State enterprises, stated that he hoped later to see Australian state ownership of shipping. Prompt commandeering of the entire British shipping would have prevented the scandalously high freight. He believed continuance of British investors confidence would provide money to build Queensland railways ahead of settlement. Mr. B'ryan will, interview Mr. Bonar Law and will visit Scotland and France.
