NOTICE is hereby given that Section 50 of the Borough By-Law •provides that every owner of a building wherein or whereon any horse or other beast of draught or burden, or any cattle, or swine ar e kept shall provide in connection with such bunding a suitable receptacle of approved material for the reception of manure, soil filth, etc., and shall also cause the removal of the contents of such receptacle at least once weekJy. The attention of all persons concerned is directed to the By-Law and any person failing or neglecting to comply therewith will render himself liable to prosecution. Dated at Taihape this 29th day of April, 1910. FREDERICK SWINDELLS, Health Inspector. BOROUGH OF TAIHAPE. REMOVAL OF REFUSE AND NIGHTSOIL. NOTICE is hereby given that the contractor to the Council will visit premises within the Borough for the removal of refuse and nightsoil at least once weekly. Section 189 of the Bonougk By-Laws provides that eveTy person shall be guilty of an offence who removes refuse or nightsoil where a contract is existing. The contractor has been instructed to report all cases where the receptacles provided do not conform to the By-Laws, with a view to proceedings being taken to enforce same. The attention of owners and householders is called to this irnportaft* matter, and all persons failing to comply with the By-Laws will render themselves liable to prosecution.
