N.S.W. POLITICAL CRISIS. GOVERNMENT RESIGNS. SYDNEY, April 28. At a special meeting of the caucus, Mr. Holman stated that he was not disposed to deviate from the position he took up at the' Labour Conference on Wednesday night, and placed the resignations of himself and colleagues in the hands of the caucus. He declared that unless the Conference reversed its decision the Government was not prepared to go on. A long debate followed. Some members took up the position that as the caucus was not elected by the Conference, Mr. Holman was wrong in making th e Conference's censure in the Upper House a vote of no-confidence in the Government, and that no notice should be taken of the Conference's action. Eventually a proposal was submitted that a delegation be appointed to place the position befor e the Conference to-night. CAUCUS AGREES TO DELEGATION. SYDNEY, April £3. The caucus agreed to the delegation which is placing the position before th e Labour Conference. The caucus delegation placed the position before the' Labour Conference, Mr. Meagher pointing out that if the Conference insisted upon the censure motion the Cabinet's resignation would be handed to the Governor, and Mr. "Wade would be probably sent for. Other delegates also intimated ihat none of the members would lake office if the Ministers resigned at th e instance of the industrialists.
