RED CROSS SOCIETY.
MEETING OP COMMITTEE. A meeting of the Committee of the Taihape (N.Z.) Branch of the Bed Crtss Society was held yesterday afternoon, Mr. J. F, Studholme presiding over a good attendance, Messrs. C. L. Dymock, Peyton, Hain, Phillips, and Ford were added to the Committee.
The following sub-committees were appointed:— Buying Committee': Mesdames ’Arrowsmith, Shute, and Emerson.
Finance Committee: Messrs. A. L. Arrowsmith, C. L. Dymock, E. B. Hair, and J. F. Studholme.
Banking Committee: Messrs. Emerson and Millers.« Entertainment Committee: Mr. and Mrs. Peyton.
A letter was received from the secretary of the Moawhango Collie Dog Club offering the Society the right of having a booth at the dog trials, and it was decided to ask the Moawhango ladies to run the booth for the Society. It was decided to give the Committee of the Wellington Branch an open order for £25 each month to send goods to the front.
