MURDER VERDICT AGAINST THE KAISER.

An inquest on a victim of the recent air raid was held in Staffordshire. Deceased was a domestic servant, and the coroner stated that she was walking along the canal side with her sweetheart when a bomb dropped. She received severe injuries and died later. A sheet mill' roller said at S.lO on January 31 there ,was a sound as if a boiler had exploded. He ran out of the works on to the canal side, and there saw a man and woman lying on the towing path. The man was alive shouting for help, but the woman was dead. A hole on the towing path was above five feet deep. The jury found that deceased succumbed to injuries through the explosion of a bomb dropped from enemy airchaft. They returned a verdict of "Wilful murder," against the Kaiser and Crown Prince as accessories before the fact. The Coroner asked the jury to reconsider the latter part of the verdict. ■ The Foreman: "The jury are unanimous."
