TAIHAPE WOMEN’S WORKING CLUB.

JAM FUND. Mrs. Shute, President of T.W.W.Cand Taihape N.Z. Branch of British Red Cross Society begs to acknowledge further donations to her appeal for jam, etc., for the boys in field and hospital:—Mrs. Saunders, Taihape, 4/-; Mrs. Brickland, Tiriraukawa, 2/6;' : Mrs. S. Powell, Taihape, 10/; Mrs. Dr Boyd for Y.M.C.A. Fund 10/-; Previously acknowledged, £9 1/6; total £lO 8/-. The whole of the money has been spent entirely on the goods appealed for and not passed into the general funds of the Club. Any farther donations will be always gratefully received. The Club is constantly sending our boys parcels. The Young Ladies’ Class on Friday packed up 94 parcels. A very good night’s work. These parcels will leave by the next troopship and it is hoped to continue the work right through to the end„ until peace is declared.
