TAIHAPE STOCK SALE REPORT. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., Taihape, report on their Taihape sale of the 12th inst. as follows; We had a fair yarding of she'ep and a good yarding of cattle.- Everything sold readily under the hammer, at advanced prices, as compared with the previous sale. We quote; Two-tooth wethers 20/ to 23/3, mixed lambs to 13/10, good wether lambs 16/, cull lambs 8/6. Twentymonths steers £7 12/, 24-year steers £lO IS/, fat bullocks £lO to £l4 2/(1, fat cows £6 1/ to £lO 12/6, springing heifens £8 to £9 15/, fat heifers £9 11/, cows and calves £8 3/6, cows in calf £6 to £7 7/„ milking cows £7, bulls £4 5/ to £9 10/.
DALGETY AND CO.S REPORT.
Messrs. Dalgety and Co. report having held their usual fortnightly sale, when a fair yarding of sheep and a large yarding of cattle were offered to a good attendance of buyers. Prices realised were very satisfactory to vendors. We quote:— Cattle.'—Weaners 29/ to £2 5/, yearlings £2, 20-months bulls £5, 18 to 20months heifers £4, 18-months steers £5 2/6, 18-months bull £3 5/, springing heifer £4 16/3, empty heifers £4 16/3. 2-year Holstein bull £5, fat cows £9 16/, empty cows £3, 31-year bullocks £l3 7/, 4-year bullocks £lO 10/, forward cows £6, cows with calves £7 10/. Sheep.—Four- and 6-tooth wethers 19/3, 2-tooth wether 9/2 to 15/2, mixed aged ewes 12/4 to 21/8, cull ewes 5/9, 2-tooth ewes 10/1, cull 1 lambs 9/1 to 10/2, mixed lambs 15/1 to 16/4, ewe lambs 15/3.
