A FRENCH OFFICIAL REPORT.

ALL GERMAN ATTACKS WERE REPULSED. COSTING THE ENEMY SEVERE LOSSES. The High Commissioner reports London, April 12th: The French official report says, on the right bank of the Meuse, the Germans launched an attack this morning, using liquid fire, on our positions at Boise des Caurettes, between Morthomme and Cumieres. The attack was completely repulsed. On the left bank of the Meuse there has been great artillery activity between Douaumont and Vaux, but the enemy has' not renewed the attack. In course of the night it was confirmed that there was a very violent offensive action yesterday at 6 o’clock, which we repulsed. It cost the Germans particularly high losses. The night was relatively calm elsewhere, on the rest of the front.
