GERMAN CLAIMS.

THT FIGHT AT BETHINCQURT. EXTENT OF FRENCH LOSSES. LONDON, April 10. A Berlin wireless says;—“We repulsed attempts of bombing parties to recapture the craters at Saint Eloi. “We isolated two fortified points of supports called Alsace and Lorraine, southwest of Bethincourt. The French sought to avoid danger by a hasty retreat, but the Silesians cut them off and inflicted sanguinary losses. We captured seven hundred unwounded men, two guns and thirteen machine guns. We also carried the front due north of the village of Avocourt, south of Crows’ Wood ravine, and southwest of Priore Hill.”
