DEFENCE NOTES.
The Taihape quota of the loth Reinforcements will leave for camp on Monday, April 3, and Staff-Sergeant-Major Tucker is asked to supply as many infantry as possible. He has at present more than sufficient mounted men waiting to be called up. A meeting of the Medical Board wall be held at the Courthouse, Taihape, this afternoon. The personell n-' the Board is as follows: —Dr. McDiarmid (President), Drs. Sinclair and Serpell. Staff-Sergeant-Major Tucker will represent the Defence Department and Sergeant-Major Lynam will represent Base Records.
The men to be examined are:—Private S. M. Alderson, Feilding; PrivatcL. J. Thomas, Hunterville; Trooper W. G. Wise, Raetihi.
