Beef. —No New Zealand beef at the market; chilled, hinds Bd, fores 6idButter. —Market very firm. Danish dull market, 178 s to 180 s; New Zealand, market firmer, 160 s to 162 s and 1645, unsalted 162 s to 1665, fair to good quality 154 s to 158 s; Australian, good demand for all descriptions, 156 s to 160 s; Argentine, 148s' to 150 s; Siberian, 126 s to 140 s. Cheese. —Market remains firm; Canadian, steady market, 99s to 100 s; New Zealand, market firm with upward tendency, white 97s to 98s, coloured 98s; English Cheddar firm market, 106 s to 110 s; Cheshire very scarce, 114 s to 120 s; United States, market firm with upward tendency, 96s tc 975; fiats 95s to 965. On Ist March the estimated Canadian and United States cheese stocks in London, Liverpool and Bristol wore 96,000 boxes against 78,000 boxes at the same time last year. The New Zealand and Australian cheese stocks in London and Bristol were 31,000 crates as against 14,700 crates last year. He~nn. —Manila, market cmiet. but prices firm, better demand for higher grades; February-April shipment Mania new graded fair £56 10s. The output from Manila for the week ended 4th inst. was 25,000 bales. New Zealand: Market quiet 'and steady, g.ccd demand for near positions, fair sold as high as £46; present quotations up to March-May shipments, New ZeaPnd good fair £-46 15s; high r.oivts £46 2s 6d. fair £46 ss; bnsidone with third grade. Tew.— £26 April to July shipment.

Wheat —Market quiet, with tendency in favour of buyers; Canadian afloat nor quarter 695, Argentine 68s 9. Australian February shipment 68s 9d. Oats—Market closed easier; Argentine February-March shipment 32s 6d, Plate 31 s 9d. Cocksfoot —Market qniet and firm, gocd Danish quoted at 93s 6d exwarehouse. Wool.—Merinos crossbred firm. *
