GERMAN DREADNOUGHTS IN THE NORTH SEA.
STATEMENT AFFIRMED IN HOLLAND. (Reed. 10.5 a.m.) LONDON, March 7. Statements circulated in Holland affirm that ever twenty German warships were observed in the North Sea yesterday.

'When the enemy was advancing he stopped outside the. trenches firing while his comrades handed up loaded rifles. Though he was amid a storm of shot and shell the rifleman was unhurt. VISITED BY HIGH COMMISSIONER. LONDON, March 6. Sir Thomas Mackenzie visited Falmouth. He found, with few’ exceptions, that the New Zealand Tunnelling Company wore in good health. Those in hospital are only suffering from minor illnesses. The majority will rejoin their units this week. Sir Thomas Mackenzie read Lord Kitchener’s message giving his best wishes to the New Zealanders. He was sure they would uphold Anzae traditions.
