METEROLOGICAL.

The following particulars have’ furnished by Mr. A. R. Fannin :■ —

The rainfall for the month of February was 2.19 inches. Ther e were nine days with rain and the maximum fall was 0;.83 inches on the 6th. The average fall for the corresponding month of the previous 10 years is 2.3 inches. The mean maximum temperature in the shade for the month was 73 deg. F., and the mean minimum temperature in the shade was 53.8 deg. F. The extreme maximum temperature in the shade was 79 deg. F. on the 9th, and the extreme minimum temperature in the shade was 46 deg. F. on the 13th and 23rd The moan terrestial radiation (grass) temperature was 50.7 deg. F. on the 16th. The mean earth temperature at 2ft, was 63.2 deg. R
