enemy trenches bombarded. EAST OF RHEIMS. LONDON, M'arch 2, 12.30 a.m. British and French artilleiy bombarded enemy trenches east o£ Rheims. Two companies of the enemy endeavoured to reach the French line, but fled, leaving their dead. North of Verdun, on the Meuse, at Malancont, Vaux, Damloup, and Woevre, no infantry attacks have been made, but artillery is active.
