DEFENCE NOTES.

The send-off to the 14th Reinforcements will take place in the Town Hal 1 on Saturday evening, when a dance will be held. Thero will be no charge for admission, but a collection will be made at the door.

The following men have been noth fled to leave for camp on Monday morning and have accepted:— Infantry: P. L. Snol'ling, W. J. Chuck, J. F. Robb, E. ‘Wiltshire, D. ,T. Dun ford, C. P. Bougen, B. L. Healey, W. J. D'oole, J. Ivroschel, J. Terry, A. Matthews. A. D. Hair, A. C. Reeves, J. Shec-han, H. Peri. Mounted: ,T. W. Mcßae, E. Cannon, J. McLennan. The following men have been warned but have not yet sent in their tance.Infantry: IV. G. (Veenman, R. Brinkworth, C. West, F. P. O'Neill, C. W. Clautman, P. Collins, F. Foster. Mounted: 1). L. Addis, 1.. W. Ivor.
