Pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of the "Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913", I hereby give public notice that 'at a Poll of Ratepayers of that part of the Borough of Taihape known as the "Taihape Water Supply and 'Electric Lighting Special Rating District" taken en Monday, the 21st d'ay of February, 1916, on the proposal of the Taihape Borough Council to borrow the sum of £3500, by way of Special Loan for the purpose of procuring Supplementary Plant for the Borough's Water and Electric Lighting Works, the following-number of votes were recorded for 'and against the proposal.: For the Proposal .. 22 Against the Proposal .. 1 Informal .. .. EXTRAORDINARY ELECTION OF COUNCILLORS. Pursuant to Section 7 of "The Local Election and Polls Act 1908" and amendments thereto, I hereby give notice that an Election will be held on MONDAY, the 13th day of March, 1916, for the purpose of electing two Councillors for the Borough of Taihape in place of Dr. E. C. Barnett and Mr. W. McLerin'an resigned; and I hereby appoint the Council Chamber of the Town Hall, Main Street, Taihape, as the place, and MONDAY, the 6th day of March 1916, (before noon) as the day for the Nomination of Candidates for such office.
