SYDNEY, Yesterday. The Australian Miners' Association has rescinded the motion declaring Port Pirie "black." The Watersiders lat Port Adelaide contributed £2OO to the strike fund. Mr. Catts, at a recruiting meeting at LeiGhardt, quoted figures showing that only one-half the number required have enlisted during [the past two and a half months. Industrial coalition in the liquor trade is proposed to oppose early closing. The Rev. Mr. Bathgate, preaching at Lithgow Methodist Church in faviur of early closing, chose as his text, "Howl, ye drinkers of wine, for it is cut off from your mouth."
