KING'S PICTTJKE THEATRE. "Whom the Gods Would Destroy,'- a magnificent Lubin masterpice of 3,000 feet, will b e the star picture to-night. It is a story that sweeps along with dramatic power, written with extrrovdintfry skill,, and a Mg knowledge >? humanity. A drama of exceptional people driven to desperate actions. The supporting pictures are: "The Level" (Vitagraph Drama. This is a varied programme and sbould draw good houses.

THREE STARS PICTURE THEATRE A powerful and pathetic feature, entitled "Outcasts of Society," will be the star at this theatre. It is a story of a girl who lias bet-n unjustly imprisoned. After her release she , drifts downward, hut the cause of her unjust sentence wins her back to an honourable life. There is also one of the popular Keystones, of 2,000 ft. entitled "Fatty's Tintype Tangle." After "Fatty" is married he has to do a lot of -housework. TAMBO WITH HIS REPTILES. _ I VISIT TO TAIHAPE. | !• Captain W. Greenhalgh, amusement caterer of the Great White City, Sydney, has just arrived in town. He has ! brought with him Tambo, the Eepti'ie Charmer, and a big collection of live reptiles from all parts of the world, including the black snake, the brown snake, the death-adder, the Arizona devil, the blue tongue, and the big iguana, which; is the snake's deadly enemy. The New Zealand Government has granted the Captain special permission to bring the reptiles into the Dominion. Four thousand people paid for admission on Boxing Day, hi Sydney, to se e Tambo go through his performance with his deadly reptiles. | The Captain's daughter. Little Star, is only 12 years old. but she is recognised as the Baby Champion of the World. She, won her title at the Great White City, wher e she tired off 16 shots in live seconds, hitting the object each time. Her main shot is shooting an object held between, the foreheads of her two assistants.
