ABSENCE OF EXCITEMENT IN ALMOST DANGEROUS BOOM. UNPARALLELED CONSUMPTION. LONDON, February 6. The most [remarkable feajture of the sales was the absence of excitement during the boom, which was almost dangerous. Prices have, however, been paid with' the fullest confidence. This is probably due to consumers being full of orders, and enjoying pood margins of profit. It is becoming increasingly evident thajt consumption of wool here is proceeding at an unparalleled rate.
