ANNETTE KELLERMAN COMING!
A WORLD-POPULAR ARTISTE. It is not many years since a young Australian girl, Annette Kelk'rman left her native land to seek fame and fortune abroad. That she -has won both in lalrge measure is now universally known, for the name of Annette Kellermann has acquired a worM-wide ■reputation. The tremendous strides Miss Kellermann has made in her profession are seen to great advantage in the photo-drama.. "Neptune’s Daughter,’’ in which she plays the titlerole, and which will be seen in Taihape shortly. In this play, Miss Kellerman, often called a mermaid, appears this time as a real one, with her shapely limbs transformed into a fish’s tail Surrounded by some 30. mermaid sisters, she swims and dives in the crystal waters of Bermuda, but later becomes a mortal maid in order to seek vengeance for the death of her baby sister. This firm is reported to be the most expensive production ever landed in New Zealand, the'rights for New Zealand alone costing £5,000.
