FEILDING A. & P. SHOW.

The Feilding A. and P. Show, which concluded yesterday, proved a great success, both as regards quality of exhibits and financial returns. The principle prize-takers are as follows: CHAMPIONSHIPS. Draught Stallion. Donald Estate’s Bucklyvie Favourite (imp.) Rcmney Ewe. —Mr G. E. Allen’s entry. Lincoln Ram.—Mr. D. G. Forlong’s entry. Lincoln Ewe —Mr P. Bremer’s entry. English Leicester Ram.—Mr. R. R. Lancaster’s entry. English Leicester Ewe—Mr S. R. Lancaster’s entry. POINTS PRIZES. Mr. S. R. Lancaster, with 43 points, wen Messrs J- Nathan and Co’s special prize for most points in dairy classes. With 20 points, Mr. H. J. Lancaster was second. Mr. J. McKelvie (41J) easily beat Mr. W. Reid (22) for the two cases of Highland Dip offered for most points in fat sheep.

Mr. T. A. Taylor (20) 'secured the most points in the flock sheep classes, Mr. J. Corpe being second with 10 points. Mrs. C. A. Johnson’s challenge cup, offered to the exhibitor getting most points in fat lambs, was won by the donor, with 24 points. Mr. J. Knight received exactly half that number. Mr. W. E. Baker’s challenge trophy for most points in purebred Romneys went this year to Mr. J. Corpe, with 44 points. Messrs W. Gibson and G. E. Allen each got 14 points. The coveted Champion Shield, for most points in all Romney classes, was won for the third time in succession by Mr. J. Corpe, with 45 points. Mr. ,W. Gibson, who won the Shield in 1910, 1911, and 1913, was given second place with 16 points. In the purebred Southdown classes Mr. Knight was easily first whs 451 points, Messrs Ellis Bros, being second with 10 points. Two cases of Murton’s Dip were offered for most points in all purebred sheep classes. Mr. Knight took the dip with 451 points, Mr. J. Corpe (44) was a close second.

Messrs Goldingham and Beckett’s challenge cup for most points in fat sheep went to Mr. J. McKelvie (41J), Mr. W. Reid second (22). Mr. McKelvie also won the Fraser Cup for most points in fat sheep and lambs securing 24 points. Mr. Knight took second prize with 12 points. The Lancaster Cup for most points in all classes of sheep and lambs was won by Mr. Knight (575), Mr. Corpe being close up with 54 points. Messrs Holder and Tolley’s points prize for the pig classes was won by Mr. R. Shorta.ll, with 8 points. Mr. (W. R. Goodrich (7) was a, close second.

In the home industries and needlework section, Mr. T. Gr. Nicholas offered a ten-guinea shield for the exhibitor securing the highest number of points, Mrs. R. C. McFarlane turned up winner with 21 points, Miss Hettie Hcpkinson second with 171 points. Mr. Nicholas ordered the shield from England, but owing to the fact that munition-making is occupying most factories, the shield is not yet to hand.
