AMUSEMENTS.
KING’S PICTURE THEATRE. The change of programme to-night \yill contain a very interesting subject “When London Sleeps.” There arc some very sensational scones in this drama, showing the Wire-Walker’s Miracle, the Flight, the Legacy, the Spy at Work,' London’s Night Club, a Big Disgrace, etc. Many dramas have been produced on London, but “When London Sleeps” is the finest yet produced. It is a realistic presentation of Charles Darrel's famous Eng lish melodrama. The supporting pictures are: “Egypt” (Topical Budget), “Famous Killino Troupe of Acrobats,” “Thirteenth Guest” (drama), and two good comics. This is a programme we feel sure will draw good houses, as the star is above the average in moving pictures.
THREE STARS PICTURE THEATRE
Two big stars are billed for to-night. The first is a powerful “Broncho” drama, “The Ruse.” This story reveals the methods by which a thieving set of company promoters endeavoured to rob an owner of his mine, and how they were frustrated by a clever trick played by a brave man. The second is a fine Relianace drama, “The Headliners.” It is a fine drama of the stage. It sh >ws a theatrical manager’s troubles, the act that did not arrive, and altogether a swift and compelling' play, and has the great charm of novelty with an exciting climax. The Budget is a very good one, supported with a Keystone comedy and comics.
