Heavies were firm; others inclined easier. „ PRICE OP WHEAT. ■ SYDNEY, Jan. 27. The Central Wheat Committee has agreed to pay 70/ per quarter f.o.b. Sydney for 6,000 tons of wheat for shipment Home, in May, a shill: ■ advance on tb e previous price. LONDON MARKETS. LONDON, January 26. Tallow: 652 casks were offered and f llo sold, prices being unchanged. WOOL SALES. SHIPPING SPACE DIFFICULTY EASING. WELLINGTON, January 27. The Wool-brokers ’Association is advised that the difficulty of obtaining shipping space for wool is becoming easier, and the Dunedin sales will be held on February 3rd. Wellington, sales will follow a week later, when the January catalogue of 37,500 hales will be submitted. No new arrivals rwill bo admitted. It is hoped to have thereafter more frequent sales, wit a smaller catalogues, which will enable wool to be cleared.
