BRAVE GIRL SHOOTS SNIPERS.
Of th e grim courage of the womanhood of France, a stirring proof is adduced by Renter's correspondent at the front. After Loos had been occupied by our troops, numbers of wounded men we're being dressed in the village square, which was being heavile shelled at the time. One of the inhabitants, a pretty young girl, was making soup for men lying all Ground her on their stretchers. For some time a party of German snipers concealed in a house some distance away had been causing trouble, and every effort to locate and dtive them out had failed. Suddenly, without a word to anyone th e girl jumped up, and, bending down beside a wounded officer, took his revolver out of his holster. Armed with the weapon, she disappeared down ;•
side street, and made her way \o a house in which she had located the snipers, who were continuing vheir deadly work. Entering by a side em tirance, the plucky girl tepk stoat > aim and shot them both.
