LONDON WOOL SALES. Messrs Dalgety and Company Limited beg to report having received the following cablegram from their London House under date of the 18th instant: —“The sales opened with a large attendance of buyers. There was 'a good selection of merinos, and competition was animated. Prices, as compared with the close of the December sales, for good combing merinos are 5 per cent, dearer, whilst other sorts are unchanged. Greasy crossbreds were not represented; slipes are 5 per cent, dearer.’'
