PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENTS.

Several sawmill hands rre advertised for by tlie Egniont Box Company. The loser of a wristlet watch can learn of its whereabouts by applying to the . “Times” office. A bunch of keys, lost between the Taihape Post Office and Milne.’s bakers shop, is advertised for in another column.

The Wangaehu Koad Board is inviting tenders for the right to cut grassseed ou any or the whole of roads within ' the Board’s district. Tenders should be addressed to Mr. A. M. Ryan, Clerk to the Board.

Tenders are invited fop privileges at the forthcoming A. and P. Show, including publican's booth, fruit and cordial booth, and luncheon booth. Specifications and particulars are obtainable from Mr. A. M. Ryan, secretary, Taihapc. The Rangiwaea School Annual Picnic is advertised to take place on Itriday, 2Sth January next, on the school-grounds. All who wish to join in a pleasant day’s outing are cordially invited to be present, and as everything is free there will no doubt be- a large attendance.

In another column the Wanganui Technical College publishes a list of subjects for which students .are taken. It is a comprehensive list and comprises subjects which many young men and women in the Taihape district might with profit take advantage of.
