Several thousand workers at the Dunlbp works at Birmingham, stopped work because they were under the impression that tyres were finding their way to Germany through Denmark. They resumed after 'assurance by the Companys' superintendent and the official Ministry of Munitions that 'the goods were not going to Germany.
