V. H. Throssell' (whose head was swmthed), Lieutenant F. H. , Tubb, Lieutenant W. J. Symons, and Private J. Hamilton, remarks a Horn#, paper. "I recommended four boys for their -work on August 29,” said Lieutenanr Throssell. "They stuck it, bomb throwing, for seven hours.” He gave the boys’ names, mentioning particularly "young Ferrier,” a boy of onry 19. "I’ve shed very few tears in my life, but the night Ferrier died I wen? [ out and blubbed like a kid.”
