Public Notice is hereby given that, 'in pursance of, and in exercise of the powers vested in it by ’“The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908” and “The Local Bcdie s Loans Act 1913” and the amendments thereof, the' Taihape Bor ough Council proposes to raise a spe eial Loan in respect to that part of the Borough of Taihape known as the Taihape Water Supply and Electric Lighting Special Rating District,” as under: (a.) The particular purpose for which the Loan is required is to procure and supply a supplementary Plant for the Borough’s Water and Electric Lighting Scheme. (b.) The sum proposed to be borrowed for such purpose i s £3500.

(c.) The proposed Security for payment of Interest- and SinkingFund on such Loan is a proportion of the revenue from Electric Lighting. A Sinking Fund of 1 per cent per annum will he provided for repayment of the Loan, i (d.) It is proposed to pay the cost of raising the Loan and the first year’s Interest and Sinking Fund out of the said Loan. By order of the Taihape Borough Council. WM. J. DINNISOX. Town Clerk.
