COPPERS FOR MUNITIONS.
GEMAN A GENETS BUYING COINS IN HOLLAND. The Germans in Belgium have been commandeering all copper money for 'heir military needs —that is for mnnitj on-making. Quite recently the Dutch Government found it necessary to forbid the export of copper coins. Germans were carrying oft’ all the one and two cent, nieces from places near the Dutch frontier. They paid as much as eleven florins for ten florins’ worth of copper coins, and did not hesitate to carry on their business in some of the central towns of Hoi id mb such as The Hague and Utrecht. Renters of chairs in the churches were approached by German agents for this purpose. The export to Germany of forbidden articles is increasing enormously, an* the newspapers are filled with cases of this kind, which are severely punished by the Dutch authorities.
