TAIHAPE COURT RETURNS.

During the quarter ended 31st December, 1915, the total number of sittings hell at the Taihape Court, was 45, seven of which were presided over by a Magistrate and 38 by Justices of the Peace. Some 59 civil cases wore heard by the Magistrate, the total amount sued for being £97 12/2, and the aggregate amount recovered being £706 3/5. There were 94 plaints entered, 16 judgment summonses issued, 13 orders being made; 68 summonses were served within a radius of two miles and 38 over two miles; two warrants of committal were exc euted by the Bailiff.
