RECRUITING BOARD MEETING. NEW SYSTEM READING. i WHEN GISTS ARE AVAILABLE. The first meeting of the Recruiting Board, consisting of Messrs Massey, Ward and Allen took place on Saturday. Mr. Massey stated that details of the scheme would not be ready for publication until a further meeting of the Board had been held. A draft had been worked out, fully and there need be no prolonged delay in putting the new system into operation when alphabetical lists of the men of military age in various citsricts were available. . .
