ENTERTAINMENTS.

KING ’ S THE ATRE

The Middleman” is without any doubt ho finest picture that has r -n been shown here. The London Film i Company has achieved a great success in this picture. The acting of Albert Chevalier is worth considerably more than the price of admission, while the staging, scenic effects, in fact, the whole show, is the finest we have seen. The picture takes just one hour and twenty minutes to show, and it holds you all the time. We can recommend this picture not only io picture-lovers but to the general public. It will be repeated again to-night and to-morrow night, and we predict packed houses.,

THREE STARS THEATRE

The star picture, “A Hero of the Dardanelles, ’ ’ was shown to a good house last night. This picture is

founded on Ashmcad Bartlett’s his tone despatch. The scene of the .land ing of the- troops at Gaba Tope is c" ’

and the bombardment by the Allied warships is very realistic. This will be repeated again to-night, and for the benefit of country people and children this picture will bo shown at the King’s Theatre at Ire matinencommeneing at 2 p.m. sharp. On Saturday night the pictures will commence at 8.20 instead of 8 o’clock.
