METEOROLOGICAL.
The following partichilaiis of tjbe month's rainfall and temperature have been kindly supplied by Mr. A. R. Fannin: The rainfall for the month of December was 1.98 inches; there were 13 days with rain and the maximum Hall was '0.45 inches ion |the 2a£hl The average fall for the corresponding month of the previous 10 years is 9.57 inches. The total rainfall for the year is 32.48 inches; in 1914 there were 31.64 inches and the average annual fall for the 9 years ending 1914 is 39.33 inches.
The mean maxilmum. temperature for the month was 66.6 deg. F. The mean maximum temperature in the shade w*as 48.8 deg. F. The extreme maximum temperature in the shade was 77 deg. F. on the 16th and the extreme rainimumt temperature in shade wa s 36 deg. F. on 30th. The mean terrestial radiation, gr<ass temperature, was 47.1 deg. F., the minimum being 34.1 deg. F. on tlie 30th. The mean earth temperature at 2ft. was 58.2 deg. F. . *A-
