Among those who have written in rightful wrath against ohe Bulgarian Czar mention must be made of his nephew, the Duke de Montpensier. In a telegram addressed to his august uncle, the duke, who is 30 years of age, castigaoes his royal relative in no soft language. Recalling the “fervent admiration” that lie once entertained for the wayward monarchnotably after ohe latter's victories over Turkey—the nephdw warmly reprimands the uncle for now embracing the Ottoman cause,- and concludes with the following maledictions: “I, who behold in you a true son of Franco, honouring his house, now renounce you. I know you no more, and abandon you to your apostacics, to you conscience, to your Turks, and t> your Bodies. ” He is a nephew possessing every chance of being cut off with the proverbial shilling.
