LONDON WOOL SALES. Dalgety and Company Limited, Wellington, received the following cablegram from their London House, under date of the 24th instant; “The sales closed at the highest point cf the year except for short faulty Merinos, which were irregular. Compared with the closing rates of the November sale, super and Too. scoured Merinos and good shafty greasy merinos were 10 per cent to 15 per cent higher; short and faulty are on a par. Scoured prossbreds showed a rise of 10 per cent _,to 15 per cent, and slipes 5 per cent. 80,000 bales were sold to the Home trade, 11,000 to the Continent, 4,000 to America, 10,000 bales were carried forward and 7.000 were not offered.
