KING'S THEATRE.

"1914," by "Rita," is the stanj to-night. This is by the London Film ' Company, and is a vivid story of tae present war. "Rita" is a famous English authoress, and in this production s-lie has excelled herself. "Scotland for King and Country" is a subtitle. The picture deals from the curbreak of the present war. Grandmother Lenoit, a French refugee. Is living in Scotland with her daughter. some exciting scenes as the picture goes on. The programme will : be shown for two nights only, to-night and to-morrow night. There will be no pictures in this hall on Saturday night. There will be a matinee on Friday, instead of Saturday, commencing at 2 p.m. sharp.

THREE STARS THEATRE

A beautifully coloured star Nordisk drama, entitled "Children or the Circus," of 3.500 feet, will head tne list to-night. The name "NordiskV is sufficient guarantee that the p^ ; ture is of the highest standard. Tjiefci are some wonderful circus scenes superbly acted. The Xordisk is famous for its power and insight in dramatic stories, but this narrative of a man who gives his life to save his daughter from a villain's clutches is startling in its reality. The supporting pictures are: "Zeppelin Air Raid on Paris," "Mabel and Fatty's Married Life" (a good Koysrone), '.'.4 Life in the Balance," "The Peacemaker," and the iatest.War Gazette —altogether a first-class programme, and should be seen.
