SECOND WOOL SALE. A FALL IN PRICES. NAPIER, This Day. The second wool sale commenced this morning, the highest price ruling for fine hrossbred was 171, as compared with 19J last month. Other classes and grades show a similar falling. Competition amongt the front benches was very keen at values set many lots passed in. The highest offer for some lots of iambs, fine, failed, to raise a bid. Bradford requirements were slightly firmer, and a half-penny higher than at last sales. DROWNING FATALITY. (Reed. 11.10 a.m.) A boy named Douglas Sutton, aged 10 years, was drowned in the W T aipa River, at Ngaruawahia this morning.
