KING'S THEATRE.
The star picture to-night will be itft great interest to many in .Taihape, r ffff many here have relations and friendlr who have gone with the Expeditionary Forces. The picture to-night will he "The Troops in Egypt," and as this picture was taken close up, in many cases you will see those you know. It shows the camp at ]Mena, waiting for the Turks, Light Horse charges, Infantry charges, climbing the Pyramids, camp life, and marching for the Dardanelles. What could be of I greater interest" than a fine series of motion pictures showing the life and work of our sons beneath the Pyramids. They knew when the picture was taken they would be screened, \ and every man sends back by the films a "Cheer-oh, how are you?" "Britannia Rules the Waves" will be shown in cartoon, and a fine Majestic [drama, "Fear of his Past," War Gazette, and others, make a splendid programme.
THREE STARS THEATRE. To-night's change will be a regular torpedo of laughs, and those who do not want a good laugh are advised not to see this, as it will be all laughs. The title is "Ambrose's Sour Grapes." It is wholesome, clean, and clever, and those who attend will ha'e 2.000 feet of merriment. It is a comedy with a plot, thoroughly natural, quaint, original. "The Rainy Day" is a splendid Lubin, full of tenderness. 'The Stenographer," "Eats," "A Study of Flowers," and the latest W(ar Gazette make up a fine programme.
