LONDON WOOL SALES. Messrs Dalgety and. Company Ltd., Wellington, beg to advise having received the following cable from their London office uncer yesterday’s date: “For the eighth series of sales the gross arrivals are 122,116 bales. Brought forward from last series 40,000 bales Old stock 22,000 bales, and nett number of bales available is 104,116 bales. Our Brokers sell on the 9th, 14th and 23rd December.”— Wellington, 3rd December, 1915. Abraham and Williams Ltd. report on Marton Sale held last Tuesday. We had a good entry of sheep and a very heavy one of cattle. The demand was fairly keen and we have to report a good sale. We quote:—Mixed 4-tooths 21/5, 21/8, mixed 2-tooths 17/11, 19/-. 2-tooth wethers 21/2, 22/1, 2-tooth ewes 19/. Aged shorn ewes and lambs 17/6. Store ewes 17/3, fat do. 19/6. 18-month heifers £? 12/, £3 15/. ylg.‘do. small £2, £2 5/-. 18-months Holstein do. £4 3/6, 2 yr. S.H. do. £4 7/6, £4 15/-. Forward heifers £4, £5. Spg. cows £6 10/-, £7 1/-, £7 7/- Fat coavs £8 12/6, 9. Ylg. steers bad coloured £2, £2 14/-, ylg. steers £4. 15/18 months steers £4 13/-, £5 2/-. 2 yr. do. £5 17/-, £6 18/-. 3 yr. do. £9, 12/-. Bulls £3. £5 2/6.
