COLONEL KALL-WALKER’3 STABLES. ACQUIRED BY THE GOVERNMENT, STUD HORSES GIVEN IN. (Reed 8.15 a.m.)' LONDON, December 3. The Government has acquired Colonel Hall-Walker’s training stables ai Rushley Park. Colonel Hall-Walker has therefore presented to the Government all his horses of the Tally stud and also those at Rushby Park, suitable to be used as stallions. THE MEMORIAL HALL MEETING. QUESTIONS IN THE HOUSE. (Reed. 8.15 a.m.) LONDON, December 3. In the House of Commons Mr Jowett referred to the Colonial soldier as a breaker-up of the anti-conscription meeting at the Memorial Hall. Sir John Simon said the police m tended, but they were not called ypon. to deal with any breach of the Mr Arthur Ponsonby asked if it was not contrary to regulations for uniformed soldiers to incite violence. Sir J. Simon said the questoin should he addressed to the War Office; he had no Information that soldiers were called upon to lead the mob. SOUTH AFRICAN REBELS. DISCUSSED IN PARLIAMENT. CAPETOWN, Dec. 3. In discussing Hertccg’s amnesty motion, General Botha said the Government would be glad to release the rebels, but the Nationalist Parly’s attitude made an amnesty unsafe.
