SPECIAL STOCK SALE REPORT. Dalgety and Company, Limited, report holding a supplementary cattle fair at Feilding on Friday, 26th ult., when the yarding comprised 682 head cattle, chiefly grown sorts, and practically the whole entry changed hands. A small yarding of sheep met a very fair sale, and prices for the day are as follows: SHEEP. Small 4 and 6-th ewes, 17/6. 2-th wethers 18/11. 2 and 4-th wethers 19/4. Fat ewes 22/ to 24/. Fat wethers to 25/4. CATTLE.
Bad coloured yearling steers, 39/. Yearling heifers £2 2/ to £2 9/. Small yearling steers £2 17/ to £3 2/6. 2-year heifers £3 10/. 2-year Foiled Angus heifers £5 15/6. Yea'rling Polled Angus cross steers £5 10/. Yearling to 15 mos. well bred Hereford steers £6 3/. 15-mos. steers £4 15/6 to £5 1/. 2-year steers £6 1/ to £6 5/. 21-year steers £8 6/, £8 8/, £8 10/. 2- Polled Angus steers £8 2/. 3- steers £9 5/ to £9 10/. Empty cows, £5 10/, £6 12/, £7 to £7 12/. Light fat cows to £9 14/. 4- bullocks £l2 19/6 to £l4 12/.
