ASSURANCE TO MINERS.

LONDON, November 28
Sir John Simon assured the Miners’ Federation that men returning to civil employment after being attested under Lord Derby’s scheme will not be called to serve in any circumstances. In the event of labour idsputes, he added, service will be confined solely to flighting the enemy and defending the country.
