EMDEN RAIDER'S ROMANCE.
Captain-Lieutenant von Muecke, of the notorious raider Emden, had added romantic interest to his adventurous career, by leading to the altrjr his old sweetheart Fraulein Clara Finke, says London “Observer.” It will be remembered how Muecke and his men, who had been sent ashore at Cocos Islands to destroy the wireless station there, were marooned when the Emden fought her last fight. Seizing a schooner, they sailec via Java for 2000 miles before I they reached Arabia. Thence they made their way overland to a hearty welIcone at Constantinople. Captain vcn Mueller, the first officer of the Emden, is in prison at Malta
