.ENTERTAINMENTS. THREE STARS. To-night a Vitagraph special star, featuring your favourite, Maurice Costello. who takes the leading role in “A Giri in the Case,” will be screened. It is a splendid play of the financial world, and a flue wholesome story. It shows the dishonest bank President robbing the depositors, and shows a clever girl’s ruse There are other good pictures, including ‘‘The Girl in the Open Road,” “The Law of the Wilds,” and a-laughable Keystone; also “Australian War Gazette.” KING’S THEATRE. A very interesting programme was shewn last night to a good house, the star picture, “A Man with a Record” being a good subject, the rest of the programme also being well up to'standard, and was well received. The programme will be repeated to-night. ART UNION DRAWINGS. The Art Union in connection, with the Carnival pictures was drawn last night at the King's, the following being the winning numbers: —First prize, No. 526; second, No. 143; third, No. 913.
