SPLEJNDID WEATHER, 'IMPORTANT GROUND ALTERATIONS. PALMERSTON N., This Day. There i s magnificent weather for the opening of the Patriotic Spring Show and Carnival. Important, ground alterations have been made, including a great cattle pavilion, for housing allstcck, costing £4OOO, and covering two-thirds of an acre. Entries are generally good, and there is big competition for dairy stock.and in the different breeds of sheep and horses.
